Team Leader - Accounts payable

Your primary responsibilities will include: - Providing consistent customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations - Identifying and escalating process-related issues to the Manager- AP promptly - Reviewing daily Metric reports, identifying performance gaps, and taking corrective actions - Managing team resources effectively to ensure coverage during absences and holidays - Flagging off incidents with high priority or business risks in a timely manner - Working on audit requirements and providing accurate information to auditors - Driving process improvements and efficiency enhancements - Recruiting, training, motivating, and developing team members - Managing attrition and ensuring proper documentation for performance gaps - Regularly reviewing process documents and conducting team member check-ins - Conducting trainings for new hires and organizing knowledge tests and assessments - Maintaining a backup plan and highlighting potential financial risks - Participating in project meetings and ensuring timely task delivery Qualifications and Experience: - Graduate or Post Graduate preferred with 4+ years of work experience in accounting - Sound knowledge of accounting principles and relevant systems like PeopleSoft - Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems Other Skills: - Excellent communication skills - Flexibility to work in multiple shifts - Strong people management skills - Willingness to travel based on business requirements - Positive attitude, high energy levels, and ability to work in cross-functional teams IHG Hotels & Resorts values collaboration, diversity, and a unique sense of belonging in our work culture.
