Team Lead - QA

Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven software tester to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The software tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the design team. You may also interact with clients in order to understand the requirements of the product.

Responsibilities

1. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

2. Solid knowledge of the software development life cycle(SDLC) and agile methodologies.

3. Experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

4. Proficiency in using test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Quality Center) for test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

6. Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG) is a plus.

7. Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with webapplication testing.

8. Knowledge of API testing and experience with tools such as Postman or SoapUl.

9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate test plans, test results, and defects.

10. Strong knowledge of performance testing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
