Job Description

The Mechanical Team Lead will oversee the industrialization engineering team, ensuring the successful design, development, and implementation in production of the products. This role involves leading a team of engineers, managing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:

Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers.
Oversee the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and products.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Collaborate with other departments, such as electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Required/ Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and CAD software (e.g., CREO, SolidWorks etc.).
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
