Job Description

The Mechanical Team Lead will oversee the industrialization engineering team, ensuring the successful design, development, and implementation in production of the products. This role involves leading a team of engineers, managing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:

  • Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers.
  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and products.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Required/ Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and CAD software (e.g., CREO, SolidWorks etc.).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
