Team Lead, Global Packaging

Your role as the Team Lead, Global Packaging involves managing global packaging strategies and operations, focusing on packaging optimization, regulatory compliance, and sustainability. You will lead a team of packaging professionals and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive global packaging excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of packaging professionals to develop, implement, and continuously improve global packaging strategies aligning with supply chain goals and regulatory requirements. - Drive packaging optimization and improvements to minimize packaging material damages and undertake related VAVE projects across Molex plants globally. - Ensure packaging materials and designs adhere to international packaging regulations and standards such as EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive, US FDA, REACH, ISO, and EPR laws. - Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for global packaging optimization, laws, environmental regulations, and sustainability directives. - Spearhead packaging-related sustainability initiatives including recyclability, waste reduction, and the use of renewable materials. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 7 years of experience in Packaging development, Improvement, Validation, returnable packaging, sustainability, Optimization, and problem-solving.
