Job Description Your role The Packaging Engineer will be responsible for supporting designing, developing, and implementing packaging and labeling materials for US/OUS medical devices. The individual should have good understanding of Packaging standards and Compliance requirements (ASTM, ISTA, ISO 11607 and EU-MDR). Within this context the activity will focus on: The job requires a self-motivated individual with collaborative skills on project, process with limited supervision. Strong knowledge of statistical methodology. Evaluate, create and document package/product test methods for new product development and existing design improvements. Understanding of documentation management systems and good manufacturing practices (GMPs) is required. Work closely with other members of the Packaging Engineering department and interact with personnel from a variety of areas within BSC. Develop strong team skills, including communication, teamwork, initiative and managed execution of all project deliverables. Work with suppliers and OEM contacts to establish partnerships to maximize quality, delivery, and lead times, and to incorporate their abilities, ideas, and material/product knowledge into new development. The Packaging Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing packaging standards and solutions to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective handling, storage, and transportation of components, spare parts, and finished vehicles. As a Quality Controller in our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products. You will conduct and supervise laboratory tests for microbiological, chemical, and physical parameters, and analyze the nutritional content of products. You will also assist in the development and testing of new food products and support product formulation changes to meet consumer preferences and regulatory guidelines. To be successful in this role, you should have a BTech/MTech in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of experience in food manufacturing and quality control, preferably in products like pickles, jams, or chikki. Knowledge of food processing techniques, packaging standards, and food safety protocols, as well as proficiency in using laboratory equipment and food testing instruments, will be required. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities are also essential for this role. Experience in managing food safety audits, familiarity with quality management software, and hands-on experience in pickling, jam preparation, or confectionery production would be preferred skills. The role requires working in a production facility, so adherence to hygiene and safety standards is crucial.
