Role Overview

Sales Team Lead – Direct Sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 4–6 Business Development Associates (BDAs).
  • Conduct direct sales activities, including

    home visits and virtual/in-person counseling

    sessions with parents and students.
  • Mentor and train team members to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Personally handle high-priority or escalated leads and close key deals.
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and drive productivity.
  • Ensure proper usage and updating of CRM tools for all leads and customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales messaging and campaigns.
  • Drive weekly/monthly revenue, enrollment, and conversion targets.

Mandatory Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in

    EdTech sales or academic counseling

    , including team handling.
  • Strong understanding of the

    school education ecosystem (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards)

    .
  • Fluent in English with proficiency in

    Telugu or Hindi

    .
  • Proven ability to close B2C deals through

    direct/home counseling

    .
  • Experience with CRM tools like

    Zoho, LeadSquared

    , and comfort with MS Office.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing field and remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Marketing, Education, or Business

  • Prior leadership or team management experience is a strong plus.
