In the last 16 years of its operation since 2009, Aasraa has impacted the lives of over 25,000 children, their families, and their communities. Starting with grassroots, street, and slum-level mobilization, Aasraa prepares children for mainstream education and transitions them to higher studies and skills training.

Aasraa’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that education cannot exist in isolation — a child cannot learn on an empty stomach or without access to healthcare, shelter, and emotional support. Hence, our approach is holistic, addressing nutrition, health, shelter, care, and protection — ensuring that every child not only stays in school but thrives and reaches their full potential.

In 2023, Aasraa launched the SkillAbility Centre in Dehradun to bridge the gap between education and employment through vocational training and soft skills development.

Position: Teachers (Classes 5th to 12th)

Aasraa Trust is seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to join our mission of empowering children through education.

Subjects Required:

• Mathematics
• English
• Physics

Grades: 5th to 12th

Location: Sultanpur Patti, Dehradun

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject area (B.Ed preferred).
• Prior teaching experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and working with children from diverse backgrounds.
