Job Title: Teacher Trainer

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Teacher Trainer to build the capacity of ICT/Computer Science teachers and support high-quality implementation of computer science programs in government and affordable private schools. The role requires strong training skills, classroom experience, problem-solving ability, and a mindset focused on meaningful student impact.

Key Responsibilities1. Training & Capacity Building

• Conduct teacher training sessions and provide on-the-job support during school visits.
• Identify teacher training needs, prepare training plans, develop training materials, and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Share effective teaching methodologies with schools for improved classroom implementation.
• Contribute to development of training manuals and collaborate with the program and curriculum team.
• Participate in annual training programs, monthly learning circles, and internal professional development sessions.
• Work closely with the Program Manager to strengthen teaching practices based on feedback.

2. Program Delivery

• Collect and compile school and training data; support data analysis and reporting.
• Submit monitoring, supervision, training, and observation reports on time.
• Support overall program quality and implementation.
• Ensure effective delivery of computer science curriculum across assigned grades and schools (may involve travel and classroom teaching).
• Prepare monthly goals and daily lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and teaching philosophy.
• Assess and monitor student learning outcomes through assessments, projects, quizzes, etc., and prepare progress reports.

3. Events & Student Engagement

• Coordinate with schools to conduct annual showcases for students.
• Organize hackathons, quizzes, field visits, and other learning activities.
• Support operational and event-related requirements for annual or special events.

4. Additional Responsibilities

• Support workshops, research and development activities, curriculum testing, recruitment tasks, and team decision-making processes as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching/training experience working with children in a formal setting.
• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and classroom facilitation skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with teachers and school stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and stay updated on developments in computer science education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or Education, or relevant experience in computer science/STEM.
• Knowledge of education program evaluation and experience in improving program quality.
• Experience working in dynamic, start-up-like environments is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹60,000.00 per month
