The Punjab Youth Leaders Program (PYLP) is a transformative two-year full-time initiative aimed at developing exceptional future leaders. This program focuses on improving the learning environment and governance of government primary schools in Punjab while fostering personal growth through leadership values and competencies. Participants work collaboratively to impact education and governance, contributing to a long-term vision of transforming Punjab into a land of hope and possibilities. PYLP strives to build a community of passionate individuals dedicated to driving sustainable change over the next three decades.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Teacher role based in Ludhiana. The Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering impactful lessons to students in government primary schools. Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting engaging teaching sessions, and training students to build strong foundational knowledge. The Teacher will also ensure effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to promote an environment of collaboration and learning.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Teaching
Strong Communication skills tailored for education settings
Experience in Education and Training delivery
Passion for primary education and creating an inclusive learning environment
Organizational and time management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field
Prior experience in teaching or working with schools is a plus
