Taxation Manager

About the Role -

• Indirect Taxation (GST)

  - Manage and oversee all GST-related compliance including monthly and annual filings.
• Review of GST workings, ITC reconciliations, and tax positions.
• Ensure accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C, etc.).

• Litigation & Assessments

  - Represent the company before authorities during audits, investigations, and assessments.
• Draft replies to notices, SCNs, and departmental queries.
• Coordinate with external consultants and legal teams for dispute resolution.

• Compliance & Advisory

  - Track GST amendments and assessing the impact on business.
• Provide advisory on tax implications for transactions, contracts, and new business models.
• Support internal stakeholders with indirect tax structuring and compliance solutions.

• Internal Controls & Documentation

  - Maintain all GST documentation and audit trails.
• Strengthen indirect tax SOPs and risk controls.
• Conduct periodic internal tax reviews and implement corrective actions.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

  - Work closely with Finance, Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Business teams.
• Support statutory and internal audits on indirect tax matters.

Requirements & Qualifications -

• CA qualified (2020-2022 batch).
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Strong expertise in GST law, compliance, and litigation.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel.
