Taxation Lead India- Confidential

As an India Tax Lead at our EMEA Shared Services Center, your role will involve managing overall tax compliances, including GST, Transfer pricing, tax audit, and filing tax returns. You will play a crucial role in ensuring adequate tax control and compliance with all tax laws. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage tax compliance, GST reporting, and filings with tax authorities. - Ensure timely compliances of GST, withholding tax returns, and corporate tax returns. - Prepare Transfer pricing documentation and manage tax assessment of Group companies in India. - Liaise with tax authorities for income tax assessments, transfer pricing assessments, and GST assessments. - Identify tax planning opportunities and implement appropriate systems/processes for tax management. - Provide transaction advisory and structuring for optimal tax solutions. - Support initiatives for process automation and collaborate with IT to enhance ERP systems from a taxation perspective. **Qualifications:** - CA with 10-15 years of relevant experience in Direct and Indirect taxation. **Skills:** - Strong understanding of Direct and Indirect tax laws. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced skills in Excel. - Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to collaborate with global and regional teams in finance and tax. - High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data. **Personal Attributes:** - Committed to continuous education and professional development. - Strong sense of urgency, responsibility, and proactive problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Professionalism, patience, and self-starter attitude.
