Urgent opening for TAX MANAGER Location - MALAD WEST MIN 5 to 8 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in National and International Taxation MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 9:00 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M. Salary - 9 LPA Excellent communication required JOB PURPOSE To carry out tax accounting, timely payments of statutory liabilities, tax compliances, MIS activities and assist the Manager Taxation on tasks assigned from time to time. ACCOUNTABILITIES GST  Updating Tax Team about the latest Amendments in the GST Tax Laws  Guiding the Tax Team in GST returns such GSTR 1, GSTR- 3B, GSTR 9 & 9C, GSTR 10 etc  Verifying GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Returns, GSTR-2B and Turnover Reconciliation  Co-ordinating with Account Team w.r.t their Tax related queries  Co-ordinating with clients w.r.t GST queries  Co-ordinating with GST Auditor in respect of their GST queries  Handling Notices / Scrutiny & replying to concerned officers  Maintaining checklist TDS  Updating Tax Team and Accounts Team about the latest Amendments in the TDS law  Application of TAN  Guiding the Tax Team in filing TDS Returns & resolving Default notices thereafter, if any  Verifying the Reconciliation of TDS Receivable as per books with 26AS  Verifying the Reconciliation of TDS Payable as per books with TDS Returns filed  Intimating the accounts & tax team on new clients falling within the purview of TDS based on threshold limits specified by the IT  Co-ordinating with Tax Auditor w.r.t to their queries  Co-ordinating with clients w.r.t TDS related queries INCOME TAX RETURN & ADVANCE TAX  Guiding the Tax Team and Accounts Team about latest amendments in Income Tax Act, 1961  Co-ordinating with client w.r.t Income Tax queries  Co-ordinating with Tax Consultants for filing Income Tax Returns & Tax Audit  Handling scrutiny work & replying to concerned officers  Knowledge about International Taxation (preferable)  Calculation of Advance Tax  Maintaining checklist PROFESSION TAX RETURN  Co-ordinating with Consultant for filing PTRC Return & Payments.  Guiding the Tax Team and Accounts Team on proper deduction of Profession Tax QUALIFICATION  Bachelors / Master’s degree / CA Inter or equivalent.  Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.  Knowledge of accounts and taxation.  Previous experience of general accounting & taxation.  Proficiency in relevant tally & tax software’s. JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE  In-depth knowledge of Direct taxes (Income tax, TDS, Advance Tax etc) & Indirect taxes (GST, PT Return etc).  Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.  Good Communication skills – English speaking.  Assist with year-end closings.  Prepare tax computations and returns.  Account reconciliations.  Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.
