Tax Consultant

You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Tax Audits, Transfer Pricing documentation, Income Tax Returns, and statutory forms in accordance with relevant provisions. Additionally, you will conduct legal research, prepare appeals, submissions, and documentation for cases before Assessing Officer, CIT(A), DRP, and ITAT. You will provide assistance to seniors in representing cases before tax authorities and offer consultancy on TDS applicability and withholding tax implications for both domestic and international transactions. Moreover, you will advise on employee tax structures and incentives to ensure tax-efficient compensation planning. Collaborating with overseas consultants to finalize tax returns as per local laws and analyzing cross-border tax implications will be part of your responsibilities. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations while delivering value-added tax advisory services. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in taxation, compliance, and audit. Proficiency in Income Tax Law, computation, tax audits, and transfer pricing is essential. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with SAP is required. You should possess excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and drafting abilities. The preferred qualification for this role is a Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA dropout with relevant experience.
