Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Tax Accountant (12 months contract )

Job Location: Pune (Onsite)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounting and Controlling
Manage the month end closing process.
Manage balance sheet account reconciliations monthly.
Prepare all financial statements for the company, including monthly, quarterly and year-end.
Ensure internal controls are in place to provide assurance that the financial information is reliable and accurate.
Ensure compliance with all generally accepted accounting principles.
Maintain accounting systems, including general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, cash flow, fixed assets, and banking. Manage operational procedures and processes to improve efficiency and comply with audit standards.
Co-ordinate with external auditors Statutory & Internal.
Responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance of the general ledger and for the production of various resultant financial statements.
Co-ordinate with ERP team for system changes & modifications
Monthly, Quarterly and Annually Analysis to be provided to Regional Team in Dubai
Trend and Variance analysis to be carried out for G&A expenses.
Working knowledge of handling the assessments corporate tax matter and Transfer pricing matter
Working closely with the regional and global tax compliance for the global tax reporting.
Experience of working in co-ordination with Senior tax consultants.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Degree in accounting or finance preferably CA with 1-4 years of experience
Strong technical knowledge and exposure to financial accounting, controlling, reconciliation, compliance
Flexible and adaptable able to juggle multiple tasks and competing deadlines
