Tableau Support Engineer

Location:

Experience

: 3 - 7 Years

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve support tickets related to Tableau reports and data sources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues around data accuracy, dashboard performance, and functionality.
  • Validate data and investigate discrepancies against source systems to ensure integrity.
  • Manage user permissions, site roles, and data access controls in compliance with governance policies.
  • Develop and manage dashboard subscription scripts as per user requirements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of support tickets, resolutions, and technical knowledge base entries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address underlying data issues impacting Tableau reports.

Experience

  • Total Experience: 3 – 4 Years
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 Years

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

  • Tableau Dashboard Development
  • Tableau Server Administration
  • Strong SQL Querying Skills
  • Performance Optimization of Dashboards
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

Good To Have Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience with Informatica ETL Tool
  • Knowledge of Cognos Analytics
