Job Description

You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the organization's IT systems and applications. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support to users. - Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals. - Assist users in navigating and utilizing software applications effectively. - Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring optimal operation and reliability. - Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups as required. - Document system configurations, changes, and issues to maintain accurate records. - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with company policies. - Conduct user training sessions to enhance understanding of systems and applications. - Provide support for onboarding new employees regarding IT systems and tools. - Collaborate with IT team members to identify and implement system improvements and upgrades. - Work with vendors and external partners to resolve escalated issues and implement solutions. - Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects as needed. - Maintain detailed documentation of support tickets, solutions, and system configurations. - Generate reports on system performance, user issues, and resolution statistics for management review. Qualification & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. - Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. - Knowledge of system monitoring tools, backup solutions, and security protocols. - Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools is a plus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Experience: - Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration. - Experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS) and common software applications. - Proven experience managing software development or engineering teams. Additional Details: This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad. You should be good at English (verbal and written) communication and comfortable working in US timings.
