How You’ll Make An Impact

To successfully take on this position, you need to be thorough and structured with a high technical interest and strive for good solutions within the set time limits.
You will be involved in projects, tenders, base work.
To grow with each task, enabling yourself to develop and take more and more responsibility. HVDC is a complex product, there is always more to learn.
You will model and study the stability of HVDC system through simulations in PSCAD/EMTDC, PSSE, Power factory and design the controllers.
You will handle the interface with other interfacing departments, ensuring that you understand their needs, and they yours, and to work for a good corporation for best end results together.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

You hold a degree in B.E. EEE (with 5+ years experience)/ Master of Engineering - Power System (with 3 to 8 years experience) / PhD - Power System (with 1 to 5 years experience).
You should have extensive knowledge of Power Systems studies and modelling of electrical network /HVDC/FACT.
You should have knowledge of Power Transmission Projects (EPC) along with PSSE, PSCAD, Matlab, Power Factory.
Extensive knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purpose, such as Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformer and measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnector, Surge Arrester etc.
Knowledge in selection, sizing and integration of above equipment based on customer functional specification.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
