System Engineer

You will be responsible for managing RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) systems to ensure the smooth functioning of applications and servers. This includes taking charge of patching management and implementing computer imaging solutions. Your role will involve driving automation initiatives and continuously improving team processes through automation. As a system engineer, you will collaborate with the operations team, providing guidance when it comes to escalated support tickets. Additionally, you will actively participate in assigned projects aimed at enhancing customer experiences and ensuring high-quality processes. You will also assist the operations teams as needed to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment. Your contributions in these areas will have a visible impact on the success of our team and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in remote technical troubleshooting and experience in coordinating activities of others (internal staff, internal customers) and managing stakeholder expectations. You should possess in-depth knowledge of Operating systems (Windows, Linux) and experience with basic networking protocols and network services including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP. Furthermore, a basic understanding of IT Security, network protocols, firewall and VPN configurations, as well as remote access, content filtering, spam filtering, malware, and virus protection is required. Experience in providing technical and procedural guidance, creating documentation, and basic knowledge of Docker will be advantageous. Additionally, you should be systemic and solution-oriented, self-organized, and proficient in English (Speaking and writing).
