System Engineer

You are excited to join Orbit & Skyline India Pvt. Ltd. as a System Engineer specializing in Broadband Plasma products. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing systems, and testing complex inspection systems using expertise from multiple technical disciplines. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to define system architecture and develop requirements for system and subsystems. - Analyze and break down subsystem requirements, specs, and justifications. - Model and budget system and subsystem performance. - Work with different functional groups to define and review designs. - Create and execute test plans, perform analysis to validate system performance, troubleshoot system and subsystem issues, and implement solutions. - Lead integration, development for features and subsystems, MFG, and customer escalations. Communicate and align with management, stakeholders, and customers on status and propose plans for decision-making. - Support internal and external customers in implementing processes to optimize tool performance. - Occasional travel may be required. **Qualifications:** **Mandatory Skills:** - Strong background in engineering or physical science with demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills. - Good understanding of Optical, Electromechanical, and Software systems and their interactions in the context of complex industrial equipment. - Strong understanding of imaging system working principles and the impact of aberrations on performance. - Skills in system and subsystem calibration, diagnostic, and troubleshooting in optics, optomechanics, and motion control systems. - Effective communicator capable of sharing technical information with functional groups, providing executive level reports to management and customers. **Preferred Skills:** - Ability to run large-scale data analysis and provide useful insights. - Familiarity with scientific and statistical analysis tools such as MATLAB, JMP, and LabView. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python. - Strong leadership skills to lead the team in development and escalations. - Agility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, responding quickly to escalations. **Eligibility Criteria:** - Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 2-3 years - Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3-5 years - Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5+ years **Why Orbit & Skyline :** You will be part of an enthusiastic and experienced team contributing to the development of the semiconductor ecosystem in India.
