Job Description

System Administrator / IT Executive

Key Roles & Responsibilities

System & Server Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems (desktop and server). Troubleshoot OS-level issues: boot errors, driver conflicts, system crashes.
  • Manage desktop environments (Windows 10/11, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.). Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and domain services.

Office 365 & Cloud Administration

  • Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, user accounts, and licenses. Provide support for cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

CCTV & Surveillance Systems

  • Manage and troubleshoot CCTV/Camera systems, NVR/DVR configurations, and surveillance networks.

Hardware & User Support

  • Perform laptop/desktop repairs, upgrades, OS installations, and imaging. Handle software installations, patching, and basic system upgrades.
  • Support users with hardware/software issues, printers, scanners, and remote access tools.

Network Support

  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting (IP conflicts, DNS issues, latency).
  • Work with firewalls, VPN setups, and general network security practices.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform regular updates, security patches, backups, and disaster recovery tasks. Create and manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and local security policies.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct routine health checks. Coordinate with senior administrators for escalated issues.
  • Manage vendor coordination and follow-up. Configure and maintain VoIP services with two-way bridging.
  • Maintain IT documentation for systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum

    3 to 5 years of experience

    as a System Administrator
  • Strong experience with Windows/Linux servers
  • Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration
  • Expertise in CCTV/camera systems and surveillance networks
  • Proficiency in laptop/desktop hardware troubleshooting
  • Good understanding of virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
  • Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network security
  • Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
