Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware and software systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain various hardware and software systems, such as email, antivirus, firewalls, and backup systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IT systems, including hardware and software, connectivity, and security.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems, including network connectivity, server uptime, and system availability.
• Ensure that all systems are up-to-date with the latest software patches, security updates, and virus definitions.
• Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, including security policies, disaster recovery plans, and data backup policies.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to IT systems, ensuring proper authentication and authorization.
• Provide technical support and assistance to users, including training and guidance on IT systems and software.
• Evaluate new hardware and software solutions, and make recommendations for system upgrades and enhancements.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in IT systems and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• System Administration and Network Administration skills
• Experience in troubleshooting and providing technical support
• Knowledge of Information Technology
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
