Job Purpose:
To actively contribute to the technical compliance ecosystem by supporting clearing case investigations, regulatory communication, certification training, and departmental coordination in alignment with global standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Cross Functional Consultation/Clearing
Register clearing queries and acknowledge receipt to requesters.
Organize relevant supporting documents and reports.
Investigate clearing cases and gather required information.
Coordinate with TCC/Technical Experts to close cases with appropriate recommendations.
2. tCMS Communication (Clearing Case)
Organize fortnightly Clearing Case Know-How sessions within the clearing team.
Identify relevant cases from Protokoll and ensure effective communication within the team.
3. Regulations Organizer
Provide regulatory support to RD colleagues using GSO-ALO.
Key Topics: Emission, E-Drive, Autonomous Driving (AD), Cybersecurity, Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.
Monitor updates on new or revised regulations via RMB.
Notify relevant RD teams via structured email communication.
Focus Markets: Europe, USA, China, Japan, Korea, India.
4. tCMS Training /Co-Trainer
Conduct tCMS awareness sessions during department town halls and within development teams.
Deliver orientation training to new multipliers.
5. National Multiplier Network Meeting: Support Member
Support the organization of Multiplier Network Meetings.
Present updates on clearing queries/cases and regulatory investigations.
Share regulation updates based on RMB intelligence.
Prepare agenda and draft minutes of meetings for DocMaster release.
6. Certification Training Co-Trainer
Act as co-trainer for mandatory tCMS certification training for RD colleagues.
Conduct and evaluate the certification component of the training program.
7. tBPIM Activity Support Member
Compile a comprehensive list of suppliers related to RD departments.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail in documentation and regulatory interpretation.
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and technical experts.
Proficient in MS Office tools and internal platforms like GSO-ALO, RMB, DocMaster.
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to evolving topics in compliance and regulation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in any Automotive domain.
6 to 10 years of relevant experience in automotive product development, compliance, or regulatory functions.
Should possess sound knowledge of different systems and components used in cars and vans (e.g., powertrain, chassis, E/E, body systems, etc.).
Exposure to global regulatory and certification requirements (e.g., UN-ECE, FMVSS, AIS, etc.) is an advantage.
Flexible to contribute in additional software-related compliance topics as needed.
