SVP-MCA QA Governance and Reporting

As a member of the MCA Quality Assurance team at Citi, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of the Manager Control Assessment program to ensure timely, accurate, and complete data for management's reliance. You will report directly to the Global Head of Central Controls MCA QA and oversee a team in Pune and Chennai, responsible for various tasks including challenging MCA policies, verifying standards adherence, and identifying operational weaknesses for improvement. **Responsibilities:** - Manage a team in Chennai conducting Quality Assurance Reviews across all Business and Functions. - Maintain governance routines for Central MCA QA team updates and prepare decks for governance forums/meetings. - Update training materials for the Central Controls MCA QA team. - Collaborate with Technology to develop a central MCA QA workflow tool. - Report MCA Quality Assurance metrics to senior management. - Track self-identified Issues and action plans completion by stakeholders. - Propose areas for MCA program review based on stakeholder input and data analysis. - Develop stakeholder relationships across all lines of defence. - Conduct root cause analysis and recommend mitigations for common themes. - Manage a team in Pune and Chennai, including hiring, performance evaluation, and career development. **Qualifications:** - 13+ years of relevant experience in MCA Quality Assurance and Business Risk and Control. - Sound ethical judgment, inquisitive and pragmatic problem-solving approach. - Comprehensive understanding of assurance, operational risk management, and regulatory focus areas. - Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.,
