Job Description

Sustainability Delivery Partner is responsible to ensure we deliver sustainable products and packaging for all own brand products in the Big W business. The partner must collaborate across the business with our commercial and development team and our suppliers to support the delivery of our sustainability plan and targets. This role supports the delivery of the BIG W’s real care initiative and Better Together for a Better Tomorrow initiatives. THE ROLE To partner with our sourcing and commercial teams to deliver own brand products with key sustainable attributes aligned to our sustainability plan . To partner across the business to implement the Woolworths Group Cotton Policy within the BIG W business, including reporting requirements aligned to the plan. This includes the implementation of policy and procedures which deliver sustainability requirements across our product ranges for both hardgoods and softgoods. The implementation of the plan for the key sustainable materials to ensure the delivery of sustainable products in our own brand range To facilitate the implementation of the sustainable materials across the entire BIG W ecosystem from sourcing to customer including transit and product packaging. Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to support their understanding of BIG W’s sustainability requirements and the key framework for delivery To work with the Woolworths Group team to provide visibility of the BIG W sustainability roadmap for sustainable materials and the ongoing reporting and governance to ensure delivery to timeline. WHO YOU ARE Previous experience in managing sustainable materials and integrating sustainable materials into the product development/product processes Strong demonstrated understanding of the risks and challenges in soft goods and hardgoods supply chains regarding sustainability Managing large programs of work for delivery of key commitments in detail to specific deadlines Preferred prior experience of cotton and raw material supply chains in the Asia region WHAT YOU WILL GAIN Become part of a multinational retail group.
