Surveillance & AML Head

You will lead and oversee AML, Surveillance, and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing regulatory inspections related to AML and Surveillance, serving as the primary liaison with SEBI, exchanges, and depositories. - Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to SEBI, Exchanges, Depositories, and FIU on AML and Surveillance matters. - Providing regular updates and risk assessments related to AML and Surveillance to the Board and senior management. - Supervising surveillance activities to detect money laundering, market abuse, and other financial misconduct. - Identifying and implementing enhanced AML measures across Broking & Depository business segments. - Overseeing the review and refinement of surveillance alerts, policies, and risk parameters to improve monitoring efficiency. - Ensuring seamless coordination with exchanges, regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders for AML and Surveillance matters. - Developing and maintaining SOPs, process manuals, and automation strategies to streamline AML and Surveillance functions. - Driving automation and digital transformation of AML and surveillance processes. - Defining business requirements for automation to ensure efficiency and accuracy in AML and Surveillance workflows. - Collaborating with operations teams and technology partners to enhance surveillance systems and regulatory reporting frameworks. Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate/CA with a minimum of 5 years of experience. - Expertise in SEBI regulations, AML frameworks, and market surveillance best practices. - Proven experience in regulatory engagement, AML & Surveillance leadership, and risk mitigation. - Strong analytical and investigative skills for reviewing surveillance reports and transaction monitoring. - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive compliance automation initiatives. - Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
