Job Description: Supply - Lead (G7) - Wishmaster Hiring (Regional)

Our Wishmasters (delivery personnel) are the face of our company and the cornerstone of our operations. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven leader to manage and scale our Wishmaster hiring across a designated region.
Role Overview
The Supply - Lead (G7) will be directly responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of all Wishmaster (Delivery Personnel) hiring and onboarding activities within their assigned region. This role is critical in ensuring the continuous availability of a high-quality, reliable delivery workforce to meet Ekarts operational demands and expansion goals. The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with a deep understanding of high-volume, blue-collar recruitment, and regional labor market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop and implement a comprehensive regional Wishmaster hiring strategy aligned with Ekart's business growth forecasts and seasonal volume peaks.
Establish and manage the hiring funnel, including sourcing channels, selection processes, and onboarding timelines to ensure efficiency and speed.
Manage the regional hiring budget and optimize cost-per-hire without compromising quality or operational timelines.
2. Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of hiring specialists and field recruiters across the region.
Set clear performance metrics (KPIs) for the regional supply team related to fill rate, lead-to-hire conversion, hiring costs, and new hire retention.
Conduct regular reviews and training sessions to maintain a high-performing and compliant hiring team.
3. Operational Oversight
Oversee and audit the end-to-end Wishmaster hiring process across all regional hubs and last-mile centers to ensure consistency, compliance, and a positive candidate experience.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the speed and quality of hiring, leveraging technology and process simplification.
Collaborate closely with Operations Leads to forecast staffing needs and rapidly address local supply shortfalls.
4. Compliance & Retention
Ensure strict adherence to all legal, regulatory, and company compliance requirements related to hiring, background verification, and documentation.
Work with HR and Operations to implement effective new-hire engagement and retention strategies during the initial onboarding period.
Identify and mitigate risks related to labor availability, wage competitiveness, and regulatory changes within the region.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in high-volume, blue-collar recruitment or supply chain/logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-site leadership role.
Logistics Expertise: Proven track record in managing hiring for last-mile delivery, fleet, or similar field-based roles is highly preferred.
Regional Knowledge: Deep understanding of the specific labor markets, sourcing channels, and demographic trends within the assigned region.
Team Management: Demonstrated success in leading, motivating, and scaling a dispersed, field-based team.
Skills & Competencies
Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate business goals into scalable, tactical hiring plans.
Data-Driven: Proficient in using data analytics (e.g., Excel/BI tools) to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and inform decisions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Results Focus: Strong bias for action and an unwavering focus on meeting critical supply targets under tight deadlines.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to anticipate and troubleshoot complex operational and sourcing challenges.
