As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist at Medtronic, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, developing, and implementing long-term supply chain strategies and networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting business execution of new programs and initiatives such as promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns. - Monitoring key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinating cross-functional work teams to increase the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. In the Specialist career stream, you will typically be an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. You will deliver and/or manage projects assigned, working with stakeholders to achieve desired results. You may also act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower-level professionals. Key Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with 3-7 years of experience in a Supply Chain Planning role. In this role, you will work independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. You will set objectives for your job area to meet the objectives of projects and assignments, contributing to the completion of project milestones. Your communication will primarily be with internal contacts, and you may provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.
