Role Overview

Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Planning

• Manage forecasting across all sales channels (retail, on-trade, permit rooms, modern trade).
  
• Deliver rolling demand forecasts considering seasonality, promotions, and excise restrictions.
  
• Build supply plans aligned with lead times, norms, and warehouse constraints.
  

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Source and procure liquor brands and packaging material within excise guidelines.
  
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize cost and ensure continuity.
  
• Develop alternate vendor strategies to handle high-demand periods.
  

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Optimize stock cover across five warehouses with 100% excise compliance.
  
• Improve shelf space utilization and warehouse efficiency through lean practices.
  
• Create replenishment models for smooth distribution to retailers/distributors.
  

S&OP Leadership

• Ensure SOP compliance for supply chain management and delivery.
  
• Establish

  inventory norms, service KPIs, and monthly business reviews

  .
• Drive planning for new launches, campaigns, and seasonal peaks (OctDec).
  

Analytics & Process Excellence

• Use analytics to track slow movers, liquidation, and working capital blockages.
  
• Promote automation and process improvement across supply chain functions.
  

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure 100% adherence to excise and regulatory laws.
  
• Monitor vendor reliability, transport issues, and regulatory changes to reduce risks.

Qualifications

• Graduate (any stream); MBA in Supply Chain preferred.
  
• 812 years of experience in

  Supply Chain Management (Liquor, FMCG, or E-commerce)

  .
• Strong expertise in

  planning, procurement, inventory control, and compliance

  .
• Certifications in

  Lean Six Sigma / Supply Chain tools

  desirable.
