Supply Chain Manager (Poultry Industry)

Key Responsibilities: 1. Feed Supply Chain Coordination

• Forecast feed requirements based on flock size, age, and growth plans.
• Plan and schedule feed deliveries to ensure on-time availability at each farm.
• Coordinate with feed mills and procurement teams to ensure raw materials are available for production.
• Implement Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery systems to reduce storage costs and feed spoilage.
• Monitor and optimize feed inventory levels at each site.

2. Transportation Management

• Plan and manage logistics routes for feed delivery across multiple farm locations.
• Select and manage transport vendors or in-house vehicle fleets.
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity protocols during transportation (e.g., vehicle disinfection).
• Monitor vehicle tracking systems to ensure on-time, safe, and secure delivery.
• Minimize transportation costs through efficient route planning and load optimization.

3. Supply Chain Planning & Coordination

• Work with production, farm, and procurement teams to ensure supply plans align with operational goals.
• Develop daily/weekly/monthly logistics plans to ensure seamless operations.
• Use supply chain software or ERP systems to manage schedules and real-time updates.
• Respond to disruptions (e.g., weather, road closures, supply delays) swiftly to maintain operations.

4. Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate data on feed usage, transportation KPIs, and vendor performance.
• Analyze trends to optimize future deliveries and reduce costs.
• Report regularly to senior management on supply chain performance.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
