Supply Chain Manager

You will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies that are in line with the business goals. Your role will involve overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes. You will need to analyze supply chain data and performance to identify areas for improvement and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms. Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining strong vendor relationships will also be part of your duties. Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies, as well as forecasting demand and planning inventory to prevent stockouts or excess, are crucial aspects of the role. Collaboration with internal departments such as production, sales, and finance is essential. Additionally, you will be expected to lead and manage a team of supply chain staff and coordinate their training. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role is required. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, is essential. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is preferred, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills. Certification in supply chain (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) would be an advantage. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) and familiarity with import/export regulations and global sourcing.
