Supply Chain Head

**Job Description** **Role Overview:** You will be leading the end-to-end supply chain strategy with a specific focus on imports, exports, and international logistics at Scimplify. Your role will involve managing global trade operations, optimizing import/export processes, developing relationships with various stakeholders, overseeing demand planning, and ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations. Additionally, you will drive supplier negotiations, implement digital tools for process enhancement, and lead a high-performing supply chain team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy with a focus on imports, exports, and international logistics. - Manage global trade operations, including customs clearance, documentation, and regulatory compliance (DGFT, EXIM, GST, FEMA, etc.). - Optimize import/export processes to reduce lead times, improve cost efficiency, and ensure timely delivery. - Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs agents, logistics providers, and regulatory bodies. - Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and distribution strategies to support business objectives. - Drive supplier negotiations and contracts to secure competitive freight rates and optimize working capital. - Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to align trade policies with organizational goals. - Ensure compliance with international trade laws and country-specific regulations. - Implement digital tools and automation to enhance visibility and control over supply chain processes. - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team. **Qualification Required:** - 10-15 years of experience in global supply chain, imports, and exports (Chemicals industry preferred). - Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, EXIM policies, and customs compliance. - Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage global vendor relationships. - Experience in scaling supply chain operations for growth-stage companies/startups is an advantage. - Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. **About the Company:** Scimplify is a specialty chemicals manufacturing company based in Bengaluru, India, offering a full-stack solution from R&D to large-scale manufacturing and delivery.
