Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sugar/Rice Trader located in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Trader will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, sourcing and procuring sugar and rice, negotiating contracts, and ensuring successful transactions. Other day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring market trends, tracking inventory, managing supply chain logistics, collaborating with suppliers, and identifying new opportunities for business growth in domestic and international markets.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Trading, Sourcing, and Negotiation.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Inventory Management.
  • Ability to analyze Market Trends and identify business opportunities.
  • Effective Communication, Interpersonal, and Relationship-Building skills.
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis and familiarity with trading software or tools is beneficial.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in the food commodities industry, particularly sugar and rice, is highly advantageous.
