Role Overview: As a Finance & Accounting Manager at Ramboll, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the finance & accounting department. Your role will involve preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, strengthening internal controls, developing proactive working relationships with clients, and providing financial support to the senior management team. Additionally, you will be expected to support ad-hoc projects, drive process improvements, and utilize your strong technical accounting skills. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance & accounting department. - Prepare/Review financial statements and reports, including monthly, annual accounts and schedules. - Strengthen internal controls, enhance process improvements. - Develop proactive working relationships with clients and understand their needs and requirements. - Continually examine current processes and procedures to establish process improvements, efficiencies, and group effectiveness. - Prepare cash flow, manage budgets/cash forecasts, and perform financial reviews. - Review, collect, and analyze data for reports, presentations, and correspondence. - Provide financial support to the senior management team and support ad-hoc projects. - Demonstrate strong technical accounting skills and senior stakeholder management experience. - Drive process improvements and utilize project management and accounting best practices. - Work well independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. - Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: - Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills. - Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Chartered Accountant (CA) Inter qualifications. - Experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, specifically with the US region. - Possession of a valid US visa is a plus. - Service mindset with strong communication and Excel skills. - Ability to drive process improvements and prioritize tasks effectively. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software applications (SAP/Oracle, Maconomy ERP knowledge is a plus). - 5 to 8 years of experience in managing Finance & Accounting functions.
