Description
As a Subject Matter Expert at HSBC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of service to the business area and stakeholders by reviewing NAV and Financial statements. Your responsibilities will include: - Engaging in the review of NAV and Financial statements to maintain green KPI across clients/processes. - Ensuring that all operational functions within the scope of NAV production and Statutory Reporting are executed according to procedures. - Providing ideas, initiatives, and projects to eliminate manual processes and reduce direct and indirect costs for sustainable savings. - Supporting the implementation and roll-out of new products/activities within NAV & Financial Reporting. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Commerce or relevant qualifications in the accounting/finance industry. - Strong understanding of Accounting Concepts and financial statements. - Knowledge of financial instruments, Funds Administration, valuation cycle, corporate actions, and the life cycle of NAV process. - Excellent understanding of the E2E Fund Accounting Model and basic knowledge in custody, brokerage, depository, investment accounting, mutual funds, and reconciliations. - 3-5 years of relevant Funds administration and reporting experience. - Efficient Time Management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet defined deadlines.
