On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for SubContract Manager

- Effectively manages relationships with international sub-contractors to ensure their alignment with project requirements, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
- Identifies and addresses potential risks associated with sub-contractors, implementing proactive measures to minimize disruptions and ensure a smooth project execution.
- Establishes and maintains processes to ensure the predictability of sub-contractor deliveries, closely monitoring progress and addressing any deviations from the project plan.
- Ensures that sub-contractors adhere to contractual obligations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, conducting audits if relevant, and reviews to maintain high performance levels.
- Continuously tracks and reports on sub-contractor performance, providing insights and updates to project stakeholders to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
- Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of subcontract amendments and variations (VO/VOR).
- Conducts subcontract awareness sessions and training for project teams.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business administration, or Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent degree in legal education, such as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or a Juris Doctor (J.D.)
- +10 years of proven sub-contract management results for international projects. Offshore or construction experience is a plus. Proven experience with FIDIC contracts, English common law, or civil law jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication, analytical and technical skills. Proven experience in leading people through change and anchoring sub-contract ownership with stakeholders. Experience with translating international sub-contract types to multiple stakeholders with visible outcomes.
