Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Study Counsellor based in Ahmedabad, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Study Counsellor will guide students in planning their education and career goals while providing personalized advice tailored to each individual. Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one consultations, addressing queries related to international studies, assisting with entrance exam preparation, and ensuring students receive the most up-to-date information. The counsellor will also collaborate with trainers, faculty, and other departments to deliver exceptional service and contribute to the students’ overall success.

Qualifications

• Strong Counseling and communication skills, including active listening and effective guidance.
• Knowledge of international education systems, entrance exams, visa processes, and study opportunities abroad.
• Interpersonal and relationship-building skills to assist and connect with diverse students.
• Organizational and time management skills for handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with basic technological tools such as presentation software, video conferencing platforms, and CRM tools.
• Proactive approach to staying updated about career trends, education opportunities, and international guidelines.
• Prior experience in student counseling, career counseling, or a related field is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is desirable.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
