JOB DESCRIPTION Student Wellness Coach- Student Wellbeing Services Organization: Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions Job Title: Student Wellness Coach- Student Wellbeing Services Reporting to: Vice President- Student Wellbeing Services Supervisory responsibility for: Counselling and Mental Health, Student Wellbeing Internal: Deans, principals, Teaching and other administrative staff External: Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatrists on the Panel, Parents Key responsibilities: · Provide one-one counselling for students. · Conduct Group sessions for students. · Conduct workshops for staff members on topics relating to student wellbeing. · Review all records of student interactions in counselling sessions. · Prepare weekly reports for management’s review. · Coordinate with external stakeholders like clinical psychologists, psychiatrists regarding students’ psychological evaluations, interventions wherever necessary. · Understand student issues and bring to the notice of management so that appropriate action can be taken in a timely manner. · Prepare regular content relating to student wellbeing and academic development. · Interact with parents wherever necessary to promote student psychological and emotional wellbeing. · Liaise with College Principals and Deans regarding support services for students who take up counselling. · Identify and report any incidents of abuse including physical, psychological and sexual to the management/ concerned authorities so that appropriate and timely action can be taken. Any other duties as reasonably required by the VP or Associate Director, Directors Educational Qualifications and experience: Graduation or post-Graduation in Psychology working with clients with a wide spectrum of psychological issues. Ability to identify psychological ailments and the processes to be followed in treating clients. Ability to foster therapeutic relationships with clients in order to provide psychological services best suited to the client. Ability to work and lead a small team and build networking with external stake holders.
