Job Title: Dance Teacher Location: Vizag, Andhra Pradesh Job Type: [Full-Time / Part-Time] Department: Performing Arts / Physical Education Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Teacher to join our institution and contribute to the growth of students through the art of dance. The ideal candidate should be skilled in various dance forms, have strong instructional abilities, and be capable of inspiring students to explore and develop their creative potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver structured dance lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. Teach a variety of dance styles, such as classical, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, ballet, or cultural/folk dances, depending on institutional needs. Prepare students for performances, competitions, and examinations. Develop and implement dance curriculum aligned with academic or institutional standards. Organize rehearsals, recitals, and showcases, including choreography, costume selection, and stage direction. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, Physical Education, or a related field. Proven experience as a dance instructor in an institutional or studio setting. Proficiency in one or more dance styles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate students. Preferred Skills: Certification from a recognized dance or performing arts institution. Knowledge of dance history and theory. Experience in stage production or event management. Basic knowledge of first aid and student safety practices. Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
