Student Visa Counselor

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely information on student visa requirements, processes, and documentation for countries such as the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and others.
• Prepare and review visa applications to ensure completeness and compliance with student visa rules and regulations.
• Maintain a deep understanding of changing student visa policies and updates from embassies and government agencies.
• Guide students in organizing required documents including financials, SOPs, academic records, and language test results.
• Communicate regularly with students to provide updates on application progress and next steps.
• Collaborate with admission counselors to ensure students meet both admission and visa requirements.
• Maintain accurate student records, case notes, and follow-up details in student management systems.

Key Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple student cases.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Prior experience working in a visa consultancy or education agency environment.
