Student Visa Counsellor

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Counselling:
• Provide one-on-one counselling to students on international education options based on their academic background, career goals, and financial situation.
• Explain the application, admission, and visa process for countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, etc.
• Assist students in choosing appropriate courses and universities.
• Application Management:
• Guide students in preparing and submitting applications to universities.
• Review and edit Statements of Purpose (SOP), Letters of Recommendation (LOR), and CVs.
• Track the progress of applications and follow up with universities as needed.
• Visa Guidance:
• Provide assistance with student visa applications, including documentation, form-filling, and interview preparation.
• Keep up-to-date with visa regulations for various countries.
• Follow-up and Support:
• Maintain regular contact with students and ensure they are informed at each step.
• Support pre-departure briefings, accommodation assistance, and travel arrangements.
• Marketing and Outreach:
• Conduct seminars, webinars, school visits, and education fairs to promote study abroad opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with university representatives, agents, and partners.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application statuses.
• Prepare regular reports and meet enrolment targets.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s preferred.
• Prior experience (1–3 years) in student counselling, preferably in overseas education.
• Knowledge of international education systems and visa procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to connect with students.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Preferred:

• Certifications in counselling or education consulting.
• Multilingual abilities.
• Experience studying or working abroad.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
