Role Description We are seeking a dedicated Counsellor to join our team at Envision. This full-time, on-site role involves supporting students throughout their journey to study abroad. Responsibilities include providing personalized career counseling, assisting with university applications and visa processes, and equipping students with the guidance they need for a successful transition overseas. Qualifications Provide end-to-end support across the student journey—from initial counseling and university shortlisting to admissions and visa application processes. Convert student inquiries into successful enrollments in international education programs. Assist students in identifying and applying for scholarships. Manage the complete sales cycle for student enrollment, including lead generation, follow-ups, and conversions. Proactively reach out to leads through calls, emails, and other follow-up strategies. Consistently achieve assigned student placement and enrollment targets within set timelines. Offer personalized counseling to students and parents on study-abroad opportunities. Deliver virtual and telephonic counseling sessions for students interested in studying in countries such as the UK, Australia, Canada, USA, Ireland, and across Europe. Guide students on suitable courses, programs (Diplomas, Bachelor’s, PG Diplomas, Master’s), and universities based on their profiles and interests. Advise on visa documentation and ensure compliance with country-specific requirements. Counsel walk-in candidates and maintain effective follow-up communication with prospects. Maintain a strong knowledge of international education systems and continuously update skills through training. Provide accurate and up-to-date information on available universities and programs. Demonstrate a sales-oriented mindset with a strong drive to meet performance goals. Cultivate student leads through referrals and word-of-mouth marketing. Exhibit strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Foster a collaborative team environment by supporting and mentoring fellow counselors. Contribute to measurable outcomes and success rates for each student cohort. Display adaptability, a proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills. Maintain a customer-centric approach and deliver exceptional service.
