Qualification

BTech or BSc in Mathematics or economics.

Role & Responsibilities:

Working in close tandem with global structuring desk facing aggressive deadlines for index development and maintenance

Working as a fully integrated member of the global markets quantitative investment strategies (QIS) team, s upporting senior team members in designing systematic strategies and writing research publications.

Gain knowledge of the relevant global financial products and models developed by business

Building upon on the existing infrastructure to implement new models as well as maintain the existing infrastructure.

Answering client requests, which range from simple data requests to designing and implementing bespoke models

Work closely with sales, traders and structurers to enable new trades to be executed.

Helping senior management in London to prepare pitches for internal Investment committees, management packs.

Help with the coordination of regulation related work.

Mind Set:

Domain

Knowledge of finance, and statistics. CFA level I preferred.
Good written and oral communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Strong Analytical skills
Enthusiasm for using technology to solve challenging problems.
Comfortable with large databases / datasets

Knowledge of equities and derivatives

Ability to work effectively as part of the team

Strong work ethics

Technical

Knowledge of python and VBA
Knowledge of Bloomberg and FactSet is preferred.
