Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Structural design and drafting of American residential & commercial (mandatory), and industrial structures.
• Design and detailing of RCC, masonry, wooden, and structural steel structures.
• Preparation of permit drawings, construction drawings, and design calculations as per U.S. standards.
• Analysis and design of structures subjected to gravity, lateral, uplift, and seismic loads.
• Design of lateral load–resisting systems including shear walls, braced frames, and moment frames.
• Coordination with architects, contractors, and engineers of record (EOR).
• Incorporation of client, municipal, and review comments.
• Project experience across U.S. states such as California, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, and similar jurisdictions.

• International Building Code (IBC)
• ASCE 7 – Minimum Design Loads and Associated Criteria for Buildings and Other Structures
• ACI 318 – Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete
• AISC 360 / AISC 341 – Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Provisions
• TMS 402 / 602 – Masonry Structures
• NDS – National Design Specification for Wood Construction
• Applicable State and Local Codes (California, Texas, Georgia, Arizona, etc.)

• Revit Structure
• AutoCAD (Mandatory)
• STAAD Pro
• ETABS
• Tekla Tedds
• ENERCALC
• MS Excel (Design spreadsheets and load calculations)
