Job Description

The Nirmana Constructions is looking for a capable and multi-skilled Structural Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling both structural design/execution and cost estimation, billing, and quantity management for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Engineering Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural designs, drawings, and calculations
• Design and analyze RCC structures including slabs, beams, columns, and foundations
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, safety standards, and project specifications
• Coordinate with architects, site engineers, and project managers
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during execution
• Identify and resolve structural and site-related issues

Quantity Surveying Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and detailed cost estimates
• Prepare rate analysis and project budgets
• Verify and process client and subcontractor bills
• Monitor project costs and control material and labor expenditure
• Handle variation claims and maintain cost reports
• Track material usage and ensure cost efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience handling structural and QS functions
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and structural design software (ETABS / STAAD / SAFE)
• Strong understanding of BOQs, billing, and cost control
• Ability to manage both site and office-based responsibilities

• Experience in residential and commercial construction projects
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills
