Key Responsibilities:Piping Design & Layout Develop 2D and 3D piping layouts using software like AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, or SmartPlant 3D. Ensure piping designs meet project specifications, offshore standards, and client requirements. Conduct clash detection and resolve issues in coordination with other disciplines. Leadership & Coordination Lead a team of piping designers and drafters to execute project deliverables. Coordinate with piping engineers, structural, mechanical, and process teams for seamless project execution. Review and approve piping drawings, isometrics, and material take-offs (MTOs). Standards & Compliance Ensure designs comply with industry standards (API, ASME, ANSI, ISO, NORSOK) and offshore safety regulations. Implement best practices for pipe routing, flexibility analysis, and stress considerations. Site Support & Technical Assistance Provide technical support for fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases. Conduct offshore surveys, if required, to verify existing piping layouts and as-built conditions. Documentation & Reporting Maintain project documentation, including specifications, procedures, and progress reports. Assist in preparing technical reports and design change justifications. Qualifications & Experience:Education: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. Experience: 10+ years in piping design, with at least 5 years in offshore oil & gas projects. Software Proficiency: SmartPlant 3D, AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, Caesar II (basic understanding of pipe stress is a plus). Knowledge of Materials & Codes: Strong understanding of piping materials, insulation, and offshore construction standards. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary:The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for leading and executing Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and process engineering activities for offshore oil & gas projects. The role involves developing process simulations, P&IDs, and technical reports while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.Key Responsibilities:1. FEED & Process DesignDevelop and review process simulations, heat & material balances, and equipment sizing using software like HYSYS, ASPEN, or PRO II. Prepare and validate Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Conduct feasibility studies and conceptual designs for offshore oil & gas processing systems. Perform hydraulic calculations, line sizing, and pressure drop calculations. 2. Engineering Support & Technical AnalysisPerform steady-state and dynamic simulations for offshore process systems. Develop process control philosophies and operating strategies. Conduct process safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL assessment. Provide input for flare and relief system designs, including PSV sizing and depressurization studies. 3. Project Coordination & Interface ManagementCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and electrical engineers. Work closely with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure alignment with project requirements. Review and approve technical documents, process datasheets, and equipment specifications. 4. Compliance & StandardsEnsure designs comply with international standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISO, and NORSOK. Apply best practices in process engineering to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Support environmental impact assessments and emissions calculations. 5. Site Support & Commissioning AssistanceProvide process engineering support during detailed engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) phases. Assist in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities as required. Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Experience: 10+ years in process engineering, with at least 5 years in FEED and offshore oil & gas projects. Software Proficiency: ASPEN HYSYS, PRO II, Flare System Analyzer, PipeSim, OLGA. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of process simulation, separation systems, heat exchangers, pumps, and compressors. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Preferred Certifications:Chartered Engineer (CEng) / Professional Engineer (PE) is an advantage. Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) preferred.
