Bim Technician

Role & responsibilities

As a BIM Technician, you will utilize advanced BIM applications like Plant3D, Civil3D, Revit,

Navisworks, and Recap to develop intelligent 3D models that meet industry standards and support the construction of water and wastewater treatment infrastructure. Youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver

high-quality models that integrate health and safety considerations, while innovating and driving

performance.

What Youll Be Doing

Create, amend, and maintain detailed 3D models based on design team instructions,

using Revit and Plant 3D to create high-quality designs for water sector projects.

Develop and model pipe and duct routes, ensuring compliance with industry standards

and project specifications.

Work collaboratively with the design team to integrate specifications, installation details,

and supplier datasheets into your models.

Support the integration of health and safety considerations into design processes,

ensuring safe and maintainable systems.

Ensure your work is completed in accordance with agreed timescales and aligned with the

projects BIM and data management procedures.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing feedback and industry best

practices to enhance the BIM model.

Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure project objectives are met,

participating in regular team meetings.
