Job Description

Design & Analysis: Calculate structural loads and stresses, analyze structural integrity, and design various structural systems using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
Materials Expertise: Assess and select suitable construction materials like steel, concrete, and timber for different projects.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, other engineers, contractors, and construction teams to develop designs and ensure construction meets specifications.
Site Supervision: Conduct site inspections to ensure construction adheres to design plans, safety standards, and building codes.
Compliance: Ensure all designs and constructions meet local, state, and national building codes, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential structural risks and hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documentation for projects.
Troubleshooting: Investigate and diagnose structural problems in existing structures and recommend repairs or modifications.
