Structural Engineer – PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings)Company: Shri InfraJob Summary

Shri Infra is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer – PEB to design, analyze, and optimize pre-engineered steel buildings in alignment with industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications. The engineer will work closely with drafting, production, and project teams to deliver safe, economical, and efficient PEB solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Analysis

• Perform structural analysis and design of PEB mainframes, secondary members, connections, and foundations.
• Utilize engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, MBS, Tekla, etc.
• Interpret design criteria, customer specifications, and relevant building codes (AISC, MBMA, ASCE 7, IS codes, etc.).
• Prepare design calculations, reaction summaries, and load diagrams.

Technical Documentation

• Review and approve fabrication and erection drawings.
• Prepare BOQs, connection sketches, and technical submittals.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness in all engineering documents.

Coordination

• Work with drafting teams to ensure designs are correctly translated into drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and clients to resolve technical queries.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and site erection stages.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure designs meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Implement value-engineering practices to optimize steel usage.
• Perform peer reviews and design verification for engineering outputs.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Experience

• 1–7+ years of experience in PEB design (based on seniority level).
• Experience with PEB design software (MBS preferred).

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of steel structures and pre-engineered building systems.
• Skilled in structural analysis tools (STAAD, SAP2000, ETABS, etc.).
• Familiar with relevant codes and standards (AISC, MBMA, IS 800, ASCE 7).

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective team collaboration and communication.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks.

Additional Responsibilities (Optional)

• Conduct site visits for technical support.
• Assist in development and improvement of PEB products and systems.
• Mentor junior engineers or draftsmen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
