Ensure impactful execution of internal and external communication initiatives with a tailored regional approach and provide support for business management in their local communication needs.
- Strategic regional communications: Develop and implement a dynamic internal and external communications strategy specifically designed to promote EconiQ and our manufacturing capabilities within targeted regions. This includes comprehensive planning, regional-focused messaging, efficient execution, and reporting.
How you ll make an impact
- Communication campaigns: Curate compelling communications campaigns, in close coordination with the BU Head of Communications and the HV Comms team, and regional leaders.
- Create and execute targeted internal and external communication campaigns that proactively promote the benefits and adoption of the high-voltage, eco-efficient EconiQ portfolio, directly addressing the imperative to move away from SF6. This will involve educating and engaging key stakeholders, including customers, management, employees, media, and relevant interest groups.
- Strategically communicate the strengths and excellences of our local manufacturing base to key customers across various target regions, emphasizing quality, innovation, and reliability.
- Proactively nurture local media relationships and encourage the distribution of BU content such as editorials, press releases, trade media features and blogs, tailored for regional audiences.
- Develop compelling supporting visuals, including targeted advertising, impactful imagery, presentations, infographics, brochures, leaflets, and posters, all aligned with brand guidelines and regional specificities.
- I mplementation Collaborate closely with the BU communications team to leverage their expertise and manage external partners in accordance with Hitachi Energy SCM rules and governance.
- Supplier Management: Cultivate strong supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet strategic objectives.
- Sourcing & Value Proactively identify and engage new suppliers who offer value and are best suited for region-specific projects.
- Operational excellence Ensures executional excellence throughout the areas of accountability for all communications actions in line with the BU and the GPG messaging and positioning and corporate identity/corporate design guidelines. Measures campaign performance and provides regular reports to drive continuous improvement.
- Management support Serve as a communications partner to regional leaders, proactively identifying key communication opportunities within target regions and providing clear, strategic guidance. Support local business head with the development of personal communication materials, including letters, speeches, talking points, articles, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- 15+ years of experience in communications or marcomms.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, matrix organization.
- Strong generalist communications knowledge spanning media management, content production, campaign development, and experience of running targeted strategic communications projects.
- Able to respond quickly and efficiently under time-sensitive circumstances.
- Cross-industry experience would be an advantage.
- Experience in running local/regional campaigns, training/supporting local stakeholders to represent the company externally.
- Hands-on and able to work as part of a global team in different time zones.
- Fluent in English to native level.
