Job Description

As a Sales Professional at Salesforce, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic sales initiatives within the technology sector in India. Your primary responsibility will be to exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling Salesforce solutions to enterprise accounts. You will be tasked with handling the entire sales process, from territory identification and research to pipeline development and engagement with prospective clients. Your accounts will consist of a mix of existing clients with additional revenue opportunities and potential prospects. You will need to forecast sales activity, achieve revenue targets, and ensure customer satisfaction to create referenceable clients. The role offers a very competitive compensation plan with significant earning potential. Key Responsibilities: - Exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling Salesforce solutions to enterprise accounts in India. - Identify and research territories to develop a go-to-market strategy and target account list. - Develop the sales pipeline through cold calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge. - Engage with prospects to position Salesforce solutions through strategic value-based selling. - Lead the end-to-end sales process by collaborating with internal resources such as Sales Engineers and Professional Services. - Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data in the Salesforce system. - Provide monthly forecasting and ensure revenue delivery. Required Skills: - Proven experience in selling to Banks and financial institutions in India. - Minimum of 15 years of enterprise solution sales experience, preferably in CRM or ERP. - Demonstrated track record of driving and closing enterprise deals. - Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals. - Degree or equivalent relevant experience. Desired Skills: - Strategic account planning and execution capabilities. - Experience in selling to C-level executives and across IT and business units of Banks and Financial Institutions in Western India. - Strong technical competence and commitment to customer success. - Ability to sell both applications and deployment of platforms. - Excellent time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
